Development & Peace Fall Campaign Workshop (Online)

The Toronto Archdiocesan Council of Development and Peace invites you to a Zoom gathering to share ideas about the Fall Campaign. "Reaping our Rights" continues the work to support smallholder farmers around the world. In particular, it promotes the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Peasants (UNDROP).

Continuing the "Create Hope: Reaping our Rights" programme for 2024, we will encounter peasant and rural communities who care for the Earth and feed the world. In solidarity with them, we will call on Canada to adopt mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence legislation, so that no Canadian company can trample on their rights.
